Directing and producing International Women’s Day content, 2020.

I'm a Communications Specialist at Capital One, crafting culture campaigns around Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging for internal employee channels. I create opportunities for employees to share what makes them unique and why that, in turn, is part of the bank's mission to change banking for good.

At Capital One, I actively volunteer with writing and content creation for empowHer, the women's employee resource group. Outside work, I give back to the Year Up and the UJA Federation of New York volunteer organizations.

As a Communications Strategist and Advisor, I freelance with companies, brands, and personalities building their businesses. From adjusting to a post-pandemic world or maintaining business as usual, I've led robust media outreach plans, planned unique social content strategies, and reimagined branding and copy for companies you can learn about here.

In a past life (before 2020), I was on the marketing team at Essence, now EssenceMediacom, part of WPP's GroupM, leading the marketing and social programs through a complete branding re-design. I also partnered with stakeholders to create splash-worthy content that won awards at small festivals like Cannes Lions and secured speaking opportunities at off-the-grid conferences like SXSW.

Before joining Essence, the New York City PR scene was my playground, where I learned the ups and downs of proper public relations at Clarity PR, 5WPR, and Grayling. Climbing through the ranks, I worked through it all: media relations, client relationship and account management, writing, account operations, and investor relations.

In my free time? Well, don’t seem to have too much of that anymore. I’m a mother to a beautiful baby girl, Romy, and rescue Boston Terrier, Bowery. When they are both sick of me, I’m recipe testing (currently trying to perfect my baking skills) or teaching myself how to mix the perfect martini. I’m still a voracious reader when I have 30 minutes before bed. My husband and I have attained “advanced beginner” status in tennis. And, I’m an admitted recovering Bravoholic.
